2018 State Conference

The State Conference is 2-day community sponsored event curated by the National Guard Association of Arizona (NGAAZ), with an audience of about 1000 to 1,500 Soldiers and Airmen at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Participants can enjoy a golf tournament sponsored by Grand Canyon University followed by dinner and a social event on day one. On day two, guests can participate in three exciting distinct events. In the morning, there is a professional development session where Soldiers and Airmen listen to fantastic speakers on a wide range of subjects to foster critical thought, learning, and inspiration. The second part of the day is when the NGAAZ conducts its business session and establishes legislative goals and priorities for our Guardsmen and women. The final and best part of the day is when Major General Michael McGuire, Arizona’s Adjutant General honors our annual award winners from the previous year at a formal awards banquet.
